To catch everyone who will actually read this up to speed, I got my wisdom teeth taken out last Thursday morning. Saturday morning, I woke up with a blot clot in my mouth, but that took care of itself that day. I’ve been swollen since Thursday, buut, the right side went down completely. The left side was still swollen. Figured “hey, it’s probs just my body’s natural reaction!”. Upon my mother’s request, I went into the dentist today to get it looked at. The left side swelling? My body’s natural reaction to an active infection, and because it’s past the 48 hour mark of surgery, my dentist is freaked. Basically doubled my antibiotic intake, and booked me for an appointment Friday morning. In the event the swelling hasn’t gone down by Friday, the worst case scenario is that I get hospitalized. Needless to say, I’m freaking out. And out of everyone I’ve known to have their wisdom teeth out, this happened to me, of course. Oh boy.
